About Uloko Fred

Fred is a seasoned business leader with over two decades of professional experience spanning management, aviation, finance, public administration, and strategic consulting across both the private and public sectors. He has held senior positions in multinational corporations, including Le Meridien, Virgin Nigeria, and Air Nigeria, where he served as Regional Head, Africa, overseeing commercial operations in 10 countries across Sub-Sahara Africa and managing a high monthly revenue portfolio across the region. At Arik Air Nigeria, Fred held several leadership positions such as Head, Commercial, Business Head, Central and West Africa, and Regional Head, North, where he led strategic initiatives that enhanced regional growth and profitability. Fred presently serves as Head, Transport (Procurement and Management Services) at the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC). He is also a management consultant and executive trainer with expertise in organizational leadership, management, and public policy. He has served as a facilitator in several local and international workshops in Lagos, Abuja, London, Istanbul, Doha, Kigali, Casablanca amongst others. Fred is a PhD Management Researcher at Veritas University, Abuja, Nigeria. His research explores the nexus between innovation, financial technology and SME growth in Nigeria. Others are corporate governance, and the financial performance of publicly quoted companies in Nigeria, public policy awareness and citizen’s participation etc. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of East London, United Kingdom, and a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Public Administration from Veritas University, Abuja, Nigeria. Fred is also an Alumnus of Pan Atlantic University/Lagos Business School. He is Certified as a Management Trainer and Consultant by the Centre for Management Development / National Management Development Council.
