About Uloko Fred

A seasoned business leader and administrator with a robust history across multinational corporations at senior level. Uloko served as Regional Head, Africa at Virgin / Air Nigeria, with responsibility for 10 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, and held senior commercial roles at Arik Air including Acting Head, Commercial and Business Head, Central & West Africa.

At Air Nigeria he set commercial strategy across ten African markets, managing a monthly revenue portfolio of roughly $4.2M alongside a network of country managers, GSAs and offline BSP markets in Europe, the United States and Asia. Earlier, as Regional Sales Manager for the South-East and South-South, he led revenue across the southern region with a corporate account book spanning oil and gas, government, diplomatic missions and telecoms.

His work outside aviation includes hospitality and market entry — building the pre-opening sales and business-development template for Best Western in Makurdi — and revenue-growth leadership at Tropica Management in Abuja.

He chairs the board of Crescend Institute, a management and leadership development research centre, and today practices public procurement as Head, Transport Administration at the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) in Abuja.
